At Gastronomie France, we have various programs with a comprehensive approach that encompasses education, training, tourism, and professional internships.

We offer a variety of programs designed to enhance your professional skills and immerse you in European culture. Below, we present our options:

Requirements


Be a Student or Graduate

Being a student or graduate in Hospitality and/or Gastronomy is a requirement to take advantage of internships and professional experiences.


Age: 18-35 years

This age range is established based on the opportunities and the migration process to maximize educational and professional opportunities.


French Level A2

A French level of A2 is required for culinary arts or B2 for hospitality, with motivation to learn. We offer support to improve language skills during the stay.


Preparation

It is crucial to start the process in advance: 6 months before for 3-month internships and 8-12 months before for 6-month internships..


Cultural Adaptation

The ability to adapt and learn quickly is key to integrating and growing both personally and professionally in an international environment.


Work Experience

Previous experience is vital for quick adaptation and to make the most of professional development opportunities.

Internship and Professional Experience Programs in France:

Our programs in France include:

Accommodation, meals based on hours worked, remuneration, guidance and support throughout the entire process, a virtual pre-immersion course conducted by a French chef aimed at introducing French culture and gastronomy, and tools for learning French.

Internships – 3 months: Duration of 90 days, aimed at current students. No visa required (depends on country of origin), but a migration process is necessary. Remuneration ranges between €550 – €600.

Internships – 6 months: Duration of 180 days, aimed at current students. Remuneration ranges between €550 – €600. (A visa is mandatory for options longer than 3 months.)

Professional Experiences in France: This option is for graduates with work experience and offers professional experiences lasting from 180 to 360 days. Remuneration ranges between €1,200 – €1,500.

Training Internship – 2 months: Aimed at profiles with extensive experience in Gastronomy. Remuneration depends on the establishment. No visa required (depends on country of origin), but a migration process is necessary.

Internships – 3 months in Spain: Duration of 90 days. Includes accommodation, meals based on hours worked, remuneration (typically between €200-€300 in Spain and €500 in Italy), guidance, and support throughout the entire process.

We provide you with the necessary guidance for the administrative and migration process that you need to undertake, ensuring that you meet all legal requirements.

Our programs DO NOT include


International Insurance

It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain their own international medical insurance. This insurance must cover any medical eventuality that may arise during their stay, thereby ensuring their well-being and safety.


Visa Cost and Processing

The costs and procedures related to obtaining a visa are the responsibility of the participant. This includes gathering the required documentation, paying the relevant fees, and completing all necessary migration procedures for their stay in the destination country.


Airfare

The cost of traveling to France must be covered by the participant. This includes the management and purchase of the necessary flight tickets for travel from their home country to the destination country.
